Bridget is a sweet and curious 5 year old living with her mother and 2 sisters in a small Ugandan village. The family’s main source of livelihood is small scale farming, growing maize, bananas, beans and vegetables. However, they only produce enough to eat and just a little surplus to sell. Her mother makes just US $2 on average per month from farming which is not sufficient to enable a decent living for them. Bridget is attending pre-school education, and she enjoys counting, coloring, and playing ball games with friends.
